Scientific Name: Ludwigia octovalvis. Common Name:  Mexican Primrose Willow.  This is an attractive shrubby herbaceous plant that usually grows to about 1 m tall. It will produce numerous bright yellow flowers all summer.  Native to Belize, Mexico, Florida and Caribbean.  It also grows well in South Texas.  A nice looking erect multi-branched herb that is drought-tolerant, easy to care for. and suitable for xeriscaping.
