Scientific Name: Tillandsia sp.  Common name: Unknown airplant. Don't know the species name but this is a delightful little bromeliad native to Mexico and Belize. It is widely grown for its beautiful purple colored leaves by plant lovers in Belize. It is easy to grow from seeds and makes an excellent interior plant that is easily cared for.  The Tillandsias are epiphytes - they feed through their leaves and not their roots. They can be attached to almost anything except treated wood.  They are drought-tolerant and suitable for xeriscaping Mist the leaves once or twice weekly. They like light, but not direct sun.  Should you know the species name be sure to let us know?

This item is a special plant lover's packet of fifty (50) Tillandsia sp. seeds, to be delivered upon receipt of payment.
