Scientific Name: Galphimia gracilis. Common Names: 'Yellow Thryallis' . A fast growing shrub that puts out nice display of bright yellow flowers. Native to tropical America but is widely cultivated throughout the tropical regions and has become naturalized in many areas. It is easily grown from seeds. It likes full sun and very well-drained soil. It is an excellent xeriscape plant that is drought tolerant and easily cared in the garden or landscape.
