Passiflora ambigua -RARE Collector Passiflora 100 Seeds

$ 8.95     Unavailable     Back

Scientific Name: Passiflora ambigua. Common Name: Many local names including "injo", "uujo or jujito", and "granadilla de monte". This is a large passiflora vine with edible fruit that is native to Belize. In cultivation it is grown primarily for the fruit but the flowers are large and showy. . In Belize it is frequently found growing over ancient Mayan ruins or limestone cliffs, very much like ivy is found in Europe. In Belize it is sometimes used as a medicine for treating head colds and high blood pressure. Rare in cultivation. Easy to grow from seeds. Excellent as a larval food plant for certain butterflies.

This item is a special packet of one hundred (100) Passiflora ambigua seeds, to be delivered upon receipt of payment. Note that the buyer pays $3.95 postage & handling.
