With feather shaped leaves, it makes an attractive pot plant when young. Tropical to subtropical in its requirements, it grows fast given adequate water and feed. Native to the Mascarene Islands in the Indian Ocean. East to grow from seeds. Can grow up to 35 foot tall. Attractive as free-standing groupings or as a accent planting with other tropical vegetation.
